I realized that the link for this wasn’t working, so I’ve reposted it here. I presented on “Shakespeare and Music in Silent Cinema” at the 2017 SCRC conference. My presentation included this audio-visual reconstruction of Rhode Island cinema musician Frederick J. Lavigne‘s accompaniment of a scene from Charles L. Gaskill’s 1912 film Cleopatra!
